Overview of Nevada

Nevada is the 32nd- most populous state in the United States. Just about three quarters of it's residents reside in Clark County which contains the city of Las Vegas. Nevada's capital is Carson City. Our state bird is the Mountain Blue Bird, and our state flower is the Sagebrush. This state is also known for it's display of various animals such as the Desert Tortoise and Desert Bighorn Sheep. This state is known as the Battle Born State because it achieved its statehood during the Civil War.
